गोपनीयता नीति
What we keep about you, and why.
Who we are
Era is the data fiduciary for this store. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and its Rules, 2025 we decide why and how your personal data is used. Our legal name, address and grievance officer are shown at the bottom of every page.
What we collect and why
Account and order: your name, phone number, email, delivery addresses and order history. We use them only to take and deliver your orders, take payment, handle returns and refunds, send order updates, issue invoices, and let you log in.
Support: the message and contact details you send us. We use them only to reply to you and fix the problem.
Stock alerts and newsletter: your email, only if you ask for them. We use it only to send what you asked for.
We collect only what these purposes need. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Your consent
Where we ask for consent, such as for marketing email, it is a clear choice that is off until you tick it. You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, from the link in any message or by writing to us. Withdrawing does not affect what was done before.
Payments
Card and UPI details are handled by our payment partner. We never see or store your card number.
Who we share it with
Only the processors we need, and only as far as your order needs: the courier who delivers your order, our payment partner, our email and SMS providers, and our hosting and database providers. They act on our instructions and must protect your data. Some of them keep servers outside India, so your data can be processed outside India; we send nothing to any country the Government of India has restricted. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. If you choose Continue with Google, Google tells us your name and the email address it has verified, and nothing else; we never see your Google password.
Ask Era
Ask Era answers from our own product, stock and policy details. When it uses an AI service to write an answer, it sends only your question and the details needed to answer it, such as products and, if you are logged in and ask about them, your own order numbers, items and delivery status. It never sends your address, phone number, email or payment details. We do not keep the conversation; it stays in your browser until you close the tab.
Cookies and what your browser keeps
We use only what the store needs to work: a login cookie, your bag, your language and your wishlist. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics later we will ask first and say so here.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for the years the tax law requires. Login codes expire in minutes. Support messages and stock alerts are deleted within a year after they are closed. Anything not needed for a legal reason is erased when you ask us to. Where the law makes us keep a record, we keep only that record, and we tell you.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask for a summary of the data we hold about you and who we shared it with, correct or complete it, have it erased, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act. Logged in, you can see your addresses and orders, download your data and erase your account from your account page. To correct or complete anything else, or to use any other right, write to eram192715@gmail.com from the email or phone on your account and we will answer within 7 days.
Children
This store is for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order. We do not knowingly collect data of a child without the consent of a parent or guardian, and we do not track or advertise to children.
Keeping it safe
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Pages are served over HTTPS. Only our staff can open customer records. If a breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires, saying what happened, what it may mean for you and what we are doing about it.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we handled your data or an order, write to eram192715@gmail.com with the subject Grievance. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India at dpb.gov.in (once it begins to take complaints).
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so on this page and, if we hold your email, tell you.
